Description

Add a beautiful modern look to the outside of your home with the Grant Outdoor Up & Down LED Wall Light. With a sleek black finish, this wall lamp is perfect for creating an urban look with your exterior lighting arrangements. It also features long lasting integrated LED technology and an IP44 rating meaning that it is suitably protected against most outdoor weather conditions.

Our Stylist Says

I love the sleek, minimalist design of the Grant outdoor light, which makes it versatile for a variety of exteriors. Its clean black finish lends itself well to contemporary and industrial-style homes, but it can also add a modern edge to more traditional facades when paired thoughtfully. For practical styling, position it to highlight architectural features or entry points, ensuring the directional light creates both ambience and security. It works particularly well in monochrome or neutral palettes, where its simple form won’t compete with other design elements. Keep in mind, this kind of lighting is perfect for creating contrast and visual interest outdoors, especially when clustered with other fixtures for a cohesive, layered lighting scheme.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
