Description

In 2019, String Furniture launched a metal version of the classic String shelf, and now they have done the same with the Pocket shelf. String Furniture has collaborated with design duo Anna von Schewen and Björn Dalström for the design of the metal version of String Pocket and with Swedish stylist Lotta Agaton for the colour selection. One benefit this durable material has is that you can also use the shelf in the kitchen or the bathroom. One modification to the appearance that distinguishes this shelf from the classic Pocket shelf is its perforated shelves. The holes in the shelves allow you to supplement the Pocket shelf with various smart accessories, such as hooks and different types of bars, giving you a wealth of storage options and application areas.

An Odyssey in Scandinavian Design

Established in 2002, Nordic Nest underwent a transformation in name from Scandinavian Design Center in 2019. However, its core ethos remained unchanged - to introduce the world to the elegance and simplicity of Scandinavian interior design.

Today, it's not just a brand; it's a hallmark of premium Nordic design, offering a selection of over 30,000 products. Commitment to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.

They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.

Bridging Cultures Through Translation

In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.

Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.
