Description

High-chroma colours and the artist's signature gestural marks combine to create a series of artworks inspired by natural forms. About the artist A "celebratory exploration of colour," Sue Kenngington's abstract artworks are each characterised by expressive, gestural brushstrokes that create a sense of movement. Originally from London, the artist now works between Rome and the Italian wilderness.

Our Stylist Says

I really love Plantlife #5 for its vibrant colours and bold, abstract design - it’s perfect for adding a splash of energy to a neutral or minimalist space. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandinavian interiors where clean lines and simple palettes are the norm, as it provides a contrast that feels both intentional and edgy. Practical styling tips include placing it above a sofa or console table to serve as a focal point, or pairing it with muted accessories to let the artwork stand out. Framing it simply allows the artwork to shine, making it a versatile piece that can adapt to various environments while adding a pop of personality.

Known for crafting pieces that mirror the comfort and style of the Soho House properties, they offer luxury furniture and accessories that make your home feel like a boutique hotel.

From Humble Requests to Global Homes

Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.

This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.

A World of Houses, Unified in Comfort

With over 30 Soho Houses across the globe, from vibrant Mumbai to trendy Austin and historic Berlin, the essence remains the same - offering a familiar, relaxed haven. Each House is meticulously designed, mirroring the unique flair of its surroundings.

Every location, with its distinct culture and history, serves as a muse for Soho Home's collections. This is evident in their specific pieces, like the elegant Manette bed found in Kettner's or the dazzling Juliana chandelier gracing the DUMBO House.

Personalise Your Soho Experience

Recognizing the desire to infuse one's space with the essence of Soho Houses, the brand introduced Soho Home Design. This tailor-made service allows enthusiasts to collaborate with their interior style managers.
