Description

Our Stafford Dining Chair in Truffle velvet was created by Annabel Astor herself, when she was unable to find the perfect upholstered dining chair. Designed with a sleek, narrow silhouette, they allow you to get more of them around the table, but still deliver superior comfort. Other unique features include a border of brass coloured studs and a back pull, adding interest to both aspects of the chair. So comfortable, it could even be used solo as a desk chair. Every element of the chair, from each metal stud hammered into place by hand to the velvet pile and stained legs, will result in the chair having individual character.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Stafford velvet dining chair in truffle because its muted brown-green tone and solid oak legs bring both warmth and structure to a space. It works equally well in contemporary townhouses, relaxed country retreats or pared-back Scandi schemes, where its understated brass studs add a hint of detail without overwhelming a neutral palette. For styling, use a simple, pale timber or marble-topped table to let the velvet stand out, and add a low-pile wool rug underneath to define the dining area. If you’re mixing fabrics, introduce a couple of linen-covered cushions in complementary earth tones, or pair with a bronze centrepiece and green foliage for a cohesive, lived-in feel.
