Description

An upholstered bedroom bench has a certain classic appeal that is hard to replicate; it brings to mind great literary heroines, taking a moment of contemplation. The Nott can indeed be used to sit and relax, as a useful surface to rest clothes and essentials, or simply as decoration. Taking its name from the "goddess of the night" in Norse mythology, it is a magical piece.

Our Stylist Says

I’m drawn to the Nott bench’s wide herringbone linen and slender oak legs - it adds subtle texture without overwhelming a room. It works equally well in minimalist, Scandi or cottage-style interiors, whether at the foot of a bed, tucked under a hallway console or alongside a dining table for extra seating. For styling, layer a couple of muted cushions in complementary neutrals to soften the look, then place a slim runner rug beneath. Tuck woven baskets underneath for magazines or shoes, or use it in a living area as occasional seating beside a statement plant.
