Oscar Wilde's, The Nightingale & The Rose, tells the tale of a selfless nightingale who sacrifices herself on the thorn of a rose so that true love can prevail for somebody else. Paying homage to its intoxicating namesake aroma, this fragrance presents a feminine bouquet of Persian rose and violet leaf that comes instantly to the fore. As its first impression dispels, it reveals a hint of bright, spicy bergamot intermingled with heady musk and sweet, woody oud. Then, subtle undertones of sandalwood and warm Moroccan cedar emerge, as the aroma of the most romantic of all flowers linger.
