Description
An icon of 20th century design, the Modern 2097 Pendant Light by Gino Sarfatti reinterprets traditional mid-century chandeliers into an ultra-modern form, through a series of tiers of horizontal branches crafted from mirror-polished chrome that hold a bulb at each end. The lamp's wiring is considered a design feature of the 2097 Modern Pendant Light, with the natural curvature mimicking the ornate curves of chandeliers past. The standard of every feature of the lamp has been finished to exceptional standards, from the mirror-polish finish of its chrome structure to the gracefully placed wiring. Born in Venice in 1939, Gino Sarfatti is renowned for his singular contribution to the modern architectural lighting movement. In accordance with the designer's legendary utilitarianism, the Modern 2097 Pendant Light in a chrome finish is humble yet powerful in equal measure and would make a timelessly elegant centrepiece for a contemporary space.
