Pocket sprung for extra support, the platform-top divan bases are available in a choice of upholstery fabrics and have optional storage drawers. The fabulous mattress is 28 cm deep and has 4000 pocket springs in king size, layered with natural Egyptian cotton, English cotton, Hampshire wool and silk. It’s hand taped, hand tufted and finished with cotton viscose cover. Eight handles make turning and rotating easy. The platform-top, firm-edge divan base has 1000 pocket springs in king size, so it’s very supportive. It’s offered with optional storage drawers, available in a range of configurations. For the perfect finishing touch, pair this divan set with the Millbrook Beds Alton floor standing headboard. Find out more. Please note. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress). We recommend the use of a mattress protector.
