Description

* Modular piece * Soft fabric * Metal legs Add a touch of classic charm with the Mae Small Dining Bench in vintage velvet. The rich, plush fabric offers a cosy, luxurious feel, while the vintage finish brings timeless elegance to your dining space. Its compact size makes it perfect for smaller settings, allowing you to make a big impact without overcrowding the room. This bench is part of a modular dining bench range. Available in multiple configurations and lengths, you can mix and match them to fit in to any space.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this small velvet bench for its combination of compact scale and luxe feel - the soft vintage velvet and slender black metal legs add just enough polish without overpowering a room. It works equally well in a pared-back Scandi dining area, a mid-century modern nook or even an eclectic kitchen scheme where mixed textures are key. For styling, tuck it under a narrow timber table to keep things streamlined, then introduce a woven runner or a couple of simple linen cushions to add depth and comfort. In a hallway or at the foot of the bed it doubles as handy extra seating and looks right at home alongside potted greenery or a pared-back console.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

More than Just Products...A Personal Touch

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family. Their online platform seamlessly complements their in-store experience, promising product availability and varied delivery options.

Sustainability and Future Thinking

But Dunelm is more than its rich history and expansive product range. At its core, the company is committed to creating that heartfelt sensation of truly being at home. They've placed a solid emphasis on making responsible, long-term decisions that prioritise our environment and cherish future relationships.

85% of their growth over the past five years is credited to market share gains, underscoring their commitment to sustainability and quality.

With over 50,000 products, many of which carry the Dunelm brand or are exclusive, they promise style, quality, and an increasing emphasis on eco-friendly credentials.
