Description

Love post-modern design? You're going to love our Lott Opal Ball Spotlight Bar. The printed terrazzo base beautifully complements the satin brass finish, adding an eclectic aesthetic to your room. The stylish opal glass shades encompass the warm light within and diffuse a softer glow through your room. This makes for the perfect ceiling light in any living room, dining room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

The Lott Terrazzo Opal Ball spotlight bar offers a sleek, contemporary look with its satin brass finish and charming terrazzo detail - perfect for adding subtle elegance to modern or eclectic interiors. I love how it blends functional lighting with a tactile design element, making it a statement piece without overwhelming the space. It's particularly well-suited to kitchens, living rooms, or hallways where directional lighting is needed. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or soft-toned interiors to highlight its luxe brass accents, or mounting it in clusters with other lighting fixtures to create an atmospheric ambience. Its versatile design also works well in both minimalist and more ornate schemes, adding a touch of sophistication and visual interest.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
