Description

Flush lighting is great for giving a stylish form of light to rooms with lower ceilings, as the reduced drop allows the fitting to remain practical and fashionable despite the lack of drop space. The Lisa flush has a nickel finish and is decorated with an arrangement of crystal effect droplets, which gives an elegant twist to the light as it shines across a room. This round flush fitting gives even light across the surrounding space, illuminating the room practically for a more satisfying style of lighting in your home!.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Lisa Flush in nickel for its clean, contemporary look with a touch of glamour. The crystal embellishments reflect light beautifully, making it a great statement piece without overwhelming a space. It works especially well in interiors with modern or transitional styles, but can also add a touch of sophistication to more classic or eclectic rooms. Practical styling tips include ensuring it’s positioned in spaces with high enough ceilings to avoid a cramped feel, and pairing it with minimalist or metallic accents to enhance its polished finish. This ceiling light can beautifully elevate bedrooms, living rooms, or even hallways, adding a bit of sparkle while keeping the design crisp and intentional.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
