TENCEL™ LYOCELL is made using sustainably sourced TENCEL™ fibres which absorb moisture and maintain a dry surface, making it exceptionally soft to the touch and providing you with an almost weightless feel against the skin. This combination of characteristics makes it perfect for those who enjoy bedding that feels cool and gentle throughout the night. TENCEL™ LYOCELL is a natural fibre that we have woven into a 300 thread count, cool and silky sateen weave for a subtle sheen. Thread count: this number refers to the number of threads per square inch. Typically, the higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the feel. John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
