Description

Product Information Specially designed for compact spaces, the Arlo range is a modern take on a mid-century design, featuring a buttoned back and striking frame. Design details Low maintenance, fixed seat cushions Fibre filled back cushions Designer's notesA cool and compact option for your living space, the Arlo range showcases a fuss-free design with a clean and shape silhouette with nods to classic, mid-entury design. Comfort ratingDesigned for those who prefer a firmer sit, this range has a firm comfort rating. Offering our highest degree of support thanks to high density foams, this rating offers strong resistance and also retains its shape well. As leather is a natural product, there are natural characteristics on each leather hide used to make our sofas. These could be things like brand marks, insect bites or wrinkles. A large sofa could be made with as many as four hides so there may also be some slight colour variation, however we have strict guidelines to make sure any noticeable marks aren't in a prominent place. These distinctive qualities also mean that no two pieces of leather furniture will be exactly the same. Owing to variations in computer screen resolution and settings, the fabric you receive may look slightly different to how it appears here. Prior to purchasing, we strongly recommend that you are order a free sample online. It's the little thingsWe care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. That's why every detail is carefully considered, with more than 20 quality checks, to ensure you're as proud of it as we are. Try before you buyWe're confident in our furniture's quality, but it's always a good idea to check that it's a good personal fit for you. Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa for its timeless, versatile design and the light legs that help keep the look bright and airy. It's a great choice for both modern and more traditional interiors, especially those with a Scandinavian or minimalist aesthetic, where the clean lines and neutral tones can be dressed up with colourful cushions or textured throws. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a cosy rug underneath, adding layered lighting, and perhaps a mix of soft and structured accessories to soften the leather's sleekness. Its neutral colour makes it adaptable to various colour schemes, so it works well as a flexible foundation for your living space.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
