Description

The Hennock ceiling light is a truly showstopping piece, giving a simple, sophisticated vibe to any interior. With a unique arrangement of arms revealing the 5 lights and glass globe shades, the unusual design looks great as a stylish centrepiece for a contemporary décor. The 5 light design ensures that you get fantastic illumination across the space, with a soft ambience that helps to create a relaxed atmosphere to unwind in at the end of the day. Finished in brass, this fitting gives an elegant metallic tone to your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love this brass ceiling light for its modern yet timeless appeal, making it a versatile choice across a variety of interiors. Its sleek, metallic finish adds a touch of sophistication, ideal for contemporary and minimalist spaces, but it can also bring a chic edge to more eclectic or industrial schemes. Practical styling tips include pairing it with exposed bulbs for an industrial look, or incorporating dimmer switches to modify the ambiance. It works particularly well in living rooms, dining areas, or even bedrooms, where its statement design can be appreciated without overwhelming the space. Its clean lines and warm brass tone make it an excellent focal point, elevating the overall aesthetic with a subtle touch of glamour.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
