Description

Stylish lighting choices for modern households, the Hector Bathroom Ceiling Spotlight is perfect for adding an urban touch to your home décor. This ceiling spotlight bar comes in a matte black finish and looks incredibly fashionable in monochrome interiors. It also features 4 adjustable spotlight heads for directional task lighting and has an IP44 rating, meaning that is suitable for use in your bathroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Hector spot bar for its sleek, matte black finish which adds a contemporary edge to any bathroom. Its adjustable spotlights make it versatile for task lighting, especially around mirrors or for highlighting specific areas. This fits well in modern, minimalist, or industrial interiors but can also work in more eclectic styles when paired with contrasting textures. When styling, consider positioning the lights to avoid glare and enhance functionality, such as focusing on the vanity or shower area. Its understated design allows it to seamlessly blend with various colour schemes, offering both practicality and style without dominating the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
