Description

Ario is a plain drapery-quality fabric woven from polyester and cotton. Because it's made just for you... As this product is made to order according to your requirements the image above is there as a guide and may not be representative of the finished item. We've reproduced the product as best we can but pattern placement and texture of the fabric will vary depending on your measurements. If the width of your window is greater than the specified width of this fabric we'll join pieces together and pattern match the seams. Made by us at our textile factory in Lancashire Since 1953, our expert Partners have designed and manufactured a range of high-quality textiles at our UK factory, Herbert Parkinson. This includes our naturally filled bedding and our Made to Measure service for curtains, blinds and cushions. Combining traditional handmade processes with state-of-the-art technology, our skilled Partners see each product through the entire creation process, ensuring it meets the design and quality standards we're known for. It takes up to 17 Partners to make a pair of curtains or a roman blind as each is experienced in a particular part of the process, including everything from cutting and joining, to pinning and hemming, to inspecting and packing. You can be assured that your curtains or blind are being made by true experts. We want you to be as proud of it as we are.

Our Stylist Says

I love this orchids roller blind for its clean, understated elegance, making it quite versatile in various interiors. It works particularly well in minimal or contemporary spaces, but can also add a soft touch to classic or feminine schemes. The light, neutral tone allows it to pair easily with colourful or patterned furnishings, making it a flexible choice for bedrooms or living rooms. Practical styling tips include using this shade with metallic or textured accents to elevate its simplicity, or layering with sheer curtains for a more sophisticated look. Its neutral hue and sleek design make it a smart option to balance bold décor elements or keep a calming aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
