Description

Patchouli and plum, mmm, what a sweet combination. Our large glass candle offers scents reminiscent of late summer and early autumn days. Breathe in the wafting notes of woody and musky spice spiked by fruity top notes. A rich, sensual and decadent mix to while away the hours. A heavenly blend, poured and set in a frosted black pot. Relax and indulge your senses.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat candle for its sleek, matte black finish, which ground's any interior with a modern yet understated elegance. The patchouli and plum scent make it a versatile choice-perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere in living rooms or adding a touch of sophistication to bedrooms. It works well styled alongside natural textures like wood or ceramic accessories, especially in minimal or contemporary interiors. Practical tip: place it on a neutral tray or atop a stack of old books to keep things organised and ensure it acts as a centrepiece without overwhelming the space. It’s an easy way to introduce warmth and subtle luxury without clutter.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
