Description

Who doesn't love a classic pattern? This pair of curtains in a trendy Blue has a stylish printed herringbone pattern that'll add warmth and texture to your space. We love these curtains for their woven look and strokably soft feel. Made from 100% cotton, they're lined to help block out light and give privacy. We've gone for eyelet hangings because they're super simple to install (just slide them onto the pole) and they give pleasingly wide folds. Should disaster strike you can even machine wash and tumble dry them. Want to complete the look? A matching cushion is available, so you can soften up your space with coordinating patterns. Our Stylist Says

I love these blue curtains for their versatile yet refined look; the herringbone pattern adds subtle texture without overwhelming the space. They work well in both modern and traditional interiors, particularly in schemes with neutral tones or cool colours, giving a sophisticated touch. The fully lined feature ensures better insulation and light control, making them practical for bedrooms or living rooms. For styling, pair with minimalistic accessories and keep window surrounds simple to let the fabric stand out. Hanging them with statement tiebacks or contrasting pelmets can also elevate the overall aesthetic, providing flexibility for various interior styles.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
