Description
At our Houses, we take sleep seriously. Designed for our newbedrooms at Babington House in Somerset, the Gerrard bed has afluted headboard and frame that can be upholstered in velvet orlinen, in a variety of colours. Each one is entirely handmade inthe UK by skilled craftsmen. Bedstead upholstered in linen. Bedstead includes headboard, frame and slats. Upholstered headboard with fluted panel detail. Mattress is not included and can be purchased separately. Handmade in the UK.

I’m quite taken with the Gerrard bed in velvet lichen - the soft, muted green pairs beautifully with pale woods, brass accents or charcoal tones and works across Scandi, mid-century and more contemporary bedrooms. To style it, keep bedding neutral (think oatmeal linen) and introduce depth with a couple of dark-green or slate-grey cushions. Flank it with slim-legged bedside tables in light oak and opt for a simple table lamp in matt black or aged brass. A textured throw at the foot and a low-profile rug under the bed will finish the look without overwhelming the room.
