Description

Sophisticated lighting styles for the exterior of your house with the Gael Glass Panel Outdoor Wall Light. This wall light features a glass panel box lantern design, looking ideal when paired with separately sold vintage filament lightbulbs, and is IP44 rated to ensure water resistance against outdoor weather conditions. It also comes in a sleek black finish, providing a modern minimalist aesthetic to your entryway.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its sleek, minimalist design and versatile black finish, making it a practical addition to a range of outdoor settings. It works particularly well in contemporary or modern exteriors, but its understated style can also complement more traditional or industrial themes. When styling, consider placing it alongside materials like brick, concrete, or timber to enhance its subtle elegance. Practical tips include using it to highlight entryways, patios, or garden features, and pairing it with warm-toned bulbs for a welcoming glow or cooler lighting for a more dramatic effect. Its lean profile also makes it ideal for narrow spaces or walls where a clean, uncluttered look is desired.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
