Managing to straddle modern minimalism and laid-back boho Scandi vibes with nods to more traditional styles too, it really is a versatile design that's going to work well with most contemporary home decor. Simple straight lines, rounded corners and an upright seating position, sat on tapered wooden legs to create space beneath (which helps add to an airy look). Constructed around a sturdy timber frame with pocket sprung seats. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
