Famous designer Patricia Urquiola created “Flauta”, a series of wall lights inspired by the pure forms of organs and flutes. These aluminium tubes stand out for their incised surface which produces a refined relief texture. The Riga version is dressed in vertical stripes that stand out for their rigorous purity and classic appeal. The Spiga version is characterised by a herringbone weave, a sophisticated detail synonymous with elegance: a jewel with an antique look and contemporary design. Flauta wall lights provide double light emission: lighting upwards and downwards. You have the option of installing a small adjustable reflector disc, at the top or bottom of the tube, to create a decorative reflected light effect. This small circular shutter is included and removable. It’s fixed by a magnet and a safety screw. This wall lamp has two built-in LED light sources (at the top and bottom of the tube). The sealing of the optical compartments is ensured by a mechanically siliconised transparent glass around the perimeter of the lamp to prevent water deposits. This Flauta wall light can be used indoors or out (IP 65). Made in Italy, this high-quality light is very durable. The aluminium is coated with powder paint: the first coat of epoxy powder provides chemical and mechanical resistance, while the second top coat of polyester powder provides resistance to UV rays and corrosive atmospheric agents. The painted surfaces are treated with alkaline and acid washes, rinsed with deionised water and then subjected to a chemical conversion treatment to protect them from oxidation. The Flauta wall light is available in a wide chromatic range, offering great freedom of customisation. The Flauta collection was born from a desire to create a flexible, evolving project which adapts equally well to both business and residential projects.
