I’m a fan of this jute-cord pendant for its simple, natural feel and the hint of industrial silver on the ceiling rose. It works equally well in a Scandi-inspired kitchen over an island, hung in pairs beside a bed or in an entryway for a touch of texture without overwhelming the space. For best results, use an Edison-style LED bulb to bring out the rope’s warmth, and keep the drop at around chest height (about 1 m from the floor) if you’re styling it over a table. Pair it with light woods, neutral walls and a few woven or rattan accessories to tie the look together.
