Ideal for urban households, the Delting Up and Down Outdoor Wall Light gives a modern appearance to your porch or entryway. This light features a sleek black design and a stylish up and down light design which casts a gorgeous spread of light across your walls. This light also has a IP44 rating, meaning that it is suitably protected against most outdoor weather conditions.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this wall light for its sleek, contemporary look and practical design. The black finish makes it versatile enough to suit a range of exteriors, from modern minimalist homes to more traditional styles with a contemporary twist. Its up and down light pattern creates a balanced and inviting outdoor ambience, perfect for illuminating doorways, pathways, or patio areas. Styling tip: pair it with clean-lined outdoor furniture and subtle greenery to enhance its modern appeal. It works well in schemes that focus on neutral tones or monochrome palettes, adding a touch of understated sophistication without overwhelming the space. Practicality-wise, it’s a good choice for durability and ease of maintenance, making it a reliable addition to any outdoor setting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
