Description

Char 160 cm wide TV stand and media console is designed for larger living rooms and can accommodate TVs up to 72". The media stand provides a lot of space for storage with 2 cabinets and 4 open shelves atop a standalone shelf. Note that atop standalone shelf is not fixed to the TV cabinet and can be adjusted in numerous ways to meet your needs. It is freestanding which may be a concern for those with children as it easily pulls off the unit. Also, check the dimensions (width & depth) of your TV legs and atop standalone shelf comparatively and make sure that the TV legs perfectly sit on it. The TV cabinet has 5 solid wood legs. The media stand is made of an 18mm thick standard quality melamine coated particle board and banded with PVC edge banding tape.

Our Stylist Says

I’d call this the Charlize TV unit - its oak-effect finish and crisp white doors strike a clean, mid-century note that suits Scandi, minimal or coastal schemes. I love how the splayed legs lift it off the floor, giving a sense of lightness while providing cable access underneath. The mix of open cubbies and concealed storage means you can display a few books or a slim soundbar yet hide games, remotes and wires behind the doors. For styling, start with a low-profile TV and balance it by layering a small plant and a stack of coffee-table books on one open shelf, then use woven baskets in the other to keep clutter at bay. A couple of slim, metallic photo frames or a sculptural object on top will finish the look without overwhelming the clean lines.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
