In order to streamline the fulfilment process, we organise deliveries direct from suppliers to you. This ensures your order will arrive faster and minimise the risk of in-transit damage. As a result, our shipping fees are on a per-supplier basis. This means that if your order can be fulfilled by a single supplier we will only charge you a single delivery fee (which will be the highest individual unit delivery amount of the items ordered); if on the other hand your order can only be fulfilled by multiple suppliers we will charge you a delivery fee for each supplier. By way of illustration, if you order a small item that is fulfilled by one supplier and a large item that is fulfilled by another supplier, we will charge you £55.90 for delivery (being £5.95 + £49.95).
If at any point prior to confirmation you wish to cancel part or all of your order, please email orders@withflitch.com.

Conceived by British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Alpina defines a new archetype for chairs from a global sustainability perspective. The Alpina project was born from a desire to create an ecological chair that meets the principles of the circular economy. The backrest is made of bioplastic: a biosourced polypropylene made 100% from the recycling of used organic cooking oils. This green material has excellent properties: it's durable, reusable and its production reduces the CO2 footprint by up to 80% compared to a traditional plastic material. The seat and legs in FSC-certified solid ash wood are completely natural. Alpina is a 100% recyclable piece of furniture. Elegant, simple and inviting, Alpina can adapt to different environments, from the most traditional to the most contemporary. To create it, the designers were inspired by traditional mountain furniture, known for its simplicity and versatility. Alpina is all about contrasts, combining two different materials. The natural, authentic character of the wooden structure blends superbly with the ultra-modern style of the plastic backrest. The wood comes out of its traditional framework, taking on a contemporary and completely new aesthetic. The sturdy solid ash frame is delicately surrounded by the enveloping backrest with its curved lines. Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby: “As designers, we have a great responsibility to adopt a sustainable, circular approach. We design first and foremost with sustainability in mind... Every piece we release is meant to be passed down from generation to generation as a coveted heirloom... The bioplastic used in the design of Alpina is a step towards a future where all new designs will be created from responsible materials that are both durable and recyclable.”
